Project Listing Interface for Precision and Speed

We developed a user-centric project listing interface, enhancing usability for contractors and the Ygrene team. This design facilitates quick and intuitive navigation through a vast database, enabling users to effortlessly pinpoint precise projects.

A process of collaborating with stakeholders

Initiating with dynamic wireframes, followed by meticulous visual design iterations, we collaborated closely with stakeholders to refine an application that intuitively adapts, ensuring a seamless and optimized user experience across various devices.

Outcomes and Impact

The new contractor portal was an immediate hit, praised for its intuitive design and seamless integration. Contractors could effortlessly navigate the complex financing process, reflecting in enhanced operational efficiency and user satisfaction. While specific metrics of success are proprietary, the feedback from Ygrene and its contractors underscored the portal’s significant positive impact on their daily operations and overall project engagement.

Reflections and Learnings

This project underscored the value of agility and collaboration in the face of complexity. Our iterative approach, combined with a deep commitment to stakeholder engagement, allowed us to navigate the project’s challenges successfully. We learned the importance of flexibility in our processes and the power of a cohesive team dynamic across different geographies and cultures. These insights have since become a cornerstone of our project management and design philosophies.

Notification system

We used Deepstream and Amazon SNS to push instant notifications from Ygrene’s backend to the user’s desktop. The notifications allow the application to alert the user of project updates even when they are not actively browsing the site.
